kin / your data
Useful data. Clear boundaries.
kinCore stores your household’s tasks, profiles, notes, points and connected-calendar information to run the app. Account sign-in is provided by Supabase; the website runs on Vercel and sign-in mail uses Brevo.
Product diagnostics
Optional first-party diagnostics record which features were used, a normalized page route, browser viewport dimensions, whether the session uses Fridge Mode, and error or connectivity categories. They exclude passwords, sign-in links, raw error text, typed notes, task titles and calendar-event descriptions. Diagnostics use a 90-day rolling retention window with hourly cleanup and are accessible only through the verified owner dashboard.
You can turn optional diagnostics off under Account → Privacy & diagnostics. Household records and essential pairing requests remain necessary to provide the service. Turning diagnostics off stops optional browser and calendar-flow tracking for your account. A paired fridge is a shared household device and records its own diagnostics.
Your quick start
The tutorial saves your chapter and completion choice to your account and household so you can resume on another device. Its setup checklist reads existing household records. Practice interactions use fictional examples and never award real points or create chores. The owner can see aggregate guide progress separately from actual chore activation.
Feedback and surveys
Feedback includes your account email, the message you choose to send, and safe reproduction context: current and previous page, screen size and recent feature names. An optional three-choice satisfaction survey may appear on a phone after a household milestone. No survey appears on paired fridge screens. The owner can read feedback, review account and household records, and tally feature requests to improve kinCore.
Blog comments
Comments require a verified account. We store the account reference, your chosen public name, comment, time, and moderation status. Only approved comments and public names appear on published articles. Account email and internal IDs stay private. The owner reviews submissions and may hide spam, harassment, or private information. Contact us to request removal.
Connected calendars
Google Calendar access is read-only. Credentials are encrypted on the server and excluded from household exports and owner analytics. You can disconnect a calendar in household settings.
Questions or deletion requests
Contact wesley@kincore.co for access, correction or deletion requests. Household administrators can export their records from Settings.
